Report Allowance Calculation Criteria Changed


It is included in the regulation made in the 17th article of the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law numbered 5510 regarding the calculation of the temporary incapacity allowance, which is given to the insured by the SSI and expressed as report money in the public.The reason for the regulation is that it is aimed to prevent collection of more report money by making false insurance in the last three months or by showing high fees, and for this reason, it is stated that the calculation will be based on the last 12 months instead of the 3-month period considered in the daily report money calculation for sickness and maternity. In the calculation of the report money received due to work accident and occupational disease, the wages and days reported to the SSI in the last 3 months will be taken as the basis.
